what are your thoughts, i've havent been up to date with my computer parts lately, last time i heard what the swift tech h220 is the best right now or is theres another cooler? please discuss

The top 10 in order for performance are:

1 - Corsair H100i
2 - Corsair H110 (2x140mm fans)
3 - Silverstone TD02
4 - Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme
5 - NSXT Kraken X60 (2x140mm fans)

The top 5 above are all within 2c of each other in performance mode.

6 - Cooler Master Seidon 240m
7 - Corsair H80i
8 - NZXT Kraken X30 (1x140mm fan)
9 - Thermaltake Water 2.0 Pro
10 - TIE - Zalman LQ315 and LQ320

The 5 above are also within another 2c of each other, just 3-4c cooler than the top performer on the list.

On max performance mode they can be loud. Dropping these to a balanced/quiet mode usually loses you 2-3c in performance.

ANY of the above would be a good choice. My recommendation is to wait until one of the top 5 goes on sale and grab it then.

Then you haven't been looking very hard. 😉

This is a fairly complete list and is updated regularly. The consistent methodology is the strong point. You'll see the H100i, Kraken, and several other comparable items there to choose from.

They are also the best source for PSU testing. One of the most thorough test labs out there.

And here's a second reference so youy know this wasn't a fluke...

Point is, they are both very close and either is a great choice.

PS - About the Swiftec H220...yes it is one of the best. It beats everything on the list I posted above in fact. However, it isn't available in all locations. Due to a lawsuit, you cannot get it in the US at all.

No idea. I would check with Swiftech or local supplier to see if they can get it in your area. I know it is blocked in the US, but that's the only limitation I'm aware of.
