Best printer for printing large amounts of pictures

Hello,
I print pictures for children's camps and we do about 5000 3x5" pictures each camp for the kids to put in their photo albums. We currently use 2 HP2600N color laser printers, but they are starting to show their age. We use card stock which is perforated.We started with ink jets, but we went through cartridges so fast it was very expensive. For software I use PowerPoint and the photo album feature, but I have to resize each picture to reduce the border size.

2)Suggestions on media
3)Suggestions on a better software program?

well i suggest you hp designjet for this, it is not much costly and easy to handle.

I am using HP too and it was rally okay in printing a lot of picture and text documents. You can edit the borders on the printing options. You can remove it if you don't want the border.
