Best printer with the cheapest ink.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a printer that is cheap for the price and yet has cheap ink also?

I'm only interested if the manufacturers ink is cheap, I'm tired of buying "FITS THIS PRINTER INK" just for me to print out 10 pages and for it to not work, or to not work completely at all...


Need this answered quite urgently, gotta get stuff for UNI done asap, thanks in advance LADs.

Keep in mind i got a students budget, so it's gotta be on the cheap side of things. Got a great Kodak 9.1 hero back home, has cheap ink and works like a charm, but they don't make those anymore, tbh can't find a single Kodak at all for sale.

Do you need color? If not, a monochrome laser is what you need.

For years I used to use HP ink but got tired of the high prices for the cartridges. Then about a year ago I bought a Brother printer because the ink prices seemed to be the lowest. So far I've been satisfied.

As far as places to buy the ink... I used to go to Staples but I've noticed that Best Buy seemed to have better prices for ink.

agreed, for cheapness nothing beats laser. sure the toner has high upfront cost however given that you can print thousands of pages the per page cost is significantly cheaper.
