Best processor for ASSUSTek M2N68-AM SE2

Hi. I have this motherboard combined with AMD Athlon II X2 215. I dont have much experience in amd processors. I need a processor that is better than this but also not to be too expensive. I also do some gaming. Like CS:GO and other multiplayer games.

It is not worth it to upgrade that socket. I suggest you save up for a little while and get a newer motherboard and CPU. Alternately keep your eye out for a used PC or even used parts.

Phenom 2 x4 945 or 960t if you can find one second hand at the right price.

I wouldn't pay more than $40 to upgrade on that socket though.

You can find them for less than that.
