Hey there --- I'm looking at getting a mac mini to serve as a local network backup host (backing up the changes on a variety of other mac's internal drives). Curious if anyone knows whether or not increased core count is going to make any difference in the performance of data backup over ethernet?
If it doesn't I can probably just get an i3 model from late 2018 and save a ton of money.
