I like to buy a new computer. I don't know if I'm going to get a laptop with a big screen or a desktop to connect to a TV, but I was wondering what's the right processor for me. I use my computer to do office, stream videos, download torrents, watch DVDs, and Skype call. I don't play video games, edit videos or rip DVDs, but I might get into simple image editing. So, i3/i5/i7? Would you recommend something different if I wanted to watch 3D movies in the future?

Pentium G2120 is your best choice! :)

It has 2 Cores, Clock Speed of 3.1 GHz, Intel Smart Cache 3 MB, Instruction Set 64-bit, and support for DDR3-1333/1600 Memory Ram.

It has also Intel HD Graphics, with Base Frequency 650 MHz (Max Dynamic Frequency 1.05 GHz), which mean that you do not need to buy a graphic card! :)

i3 3220 3.3Ghz w/ Intel HD 2500 Graphics.
It's quite a bit faster and is going to be alot more proficient at multi tasking than any of the pentiums as well as more future proofed for more hardware dependent software. The AMD APU's as wisecracer stated are also a good choice for your needs.
