see here: http://imgur.com/a/KUsTn . i used a intel utility that tells 3,0GB video memory. then the program Speccy that tells me 512Mb of video memory. and i used dxdiag which says 2543MB at "Totaal geheugen" which is dutch and it means total memory. they all tell me different things.. i think it's just 512MB. but i need to be sure, especially when i want to sell a PC i got. and i need to get the specs from it. so what is best to use?

So much for the straight forward approach - https://www.geforce.com/hardware/notebook-gpus/geforce-9600m-gt/specifications

What make/model is PC? Perhaps looking there would be a better option.

Different settings or scores exist because GPU can also use system memory so while my GPU has 4gb onboard, DXDiag says I have 12gb of total memory.

On front page of DXDiag, choose Show all information, this will allow you to save a txt file of all the info in DXDiag. Open it and look under display devices, this is what mine shows in there
Display Memory: 12171 MB
Dedicated Memory: 4008 MB
Shared Memory: 8162 MB

Since I have a 980, the details on the dxdiag page you showed has different headings to mine.
