Question Best PSU 450w-550w $70 or under

Just looking for a reliable and good PSU for a mini itx build in a thermaltake V1. Specifically for an Arcade. Mame, model2 , etc.

I3-9100
GT 1030 2GB

Was looking at the CX450m and the EVGA B3 550w

Either would work with that build. I'd go for a Corsair CX if I were wanting a budget PSU. They are better than the EVGA B3 series.

I am deciding if it is worth it to spend $80 and get the Seasonic Focus+ Gold 550. Or $65 if i can live with semi modular.

I am so used to building power hungry rigs with really nice PSU's, this low power and tight itx unit has me a little confused. Even good companies have crap lower end PSU's it seems.

Looks like the Seasonic Focus Gold 550w is the best bet. $64.

Must be better than the CX 450m and G3 i would imagine.

With it being an ITX, you would probably prefer full-modular. But if the case has somewhere to hide the extra cables, then semi-modular wouldn't be too bad.

Yeah full modular is definitely preferred. But i guess the only cables attached are the Mobo and CPU, which i need to use anyway. So they aren't extra cables i will have to just hide for nothing. Thanks again
