Best PSU for my system?

Hey guys,
So this is my first post I just recently built my first computer about a month ago and everything was running well. However I had the opportunity to make some huge upgrades so I went from a Rx570 to a 1070ti, so I did but while playing games the system would shut down. I did a couple tests to see if this was consistent, and it was. At this point I pretty much narrowed it down to the PSU for being the problem since I put back my Rx570 for the time being and it has had no problems. Was hoping you guys could help me out with best power supply around the 100$ mark or even less or a little more then that. Also if you guys could think of other problems that would be helpful but I think I did the preperation from swapping to AMD to NVIDIA. Thanks in advanced!

OLD PSU (bought at a discounted price from Fry's since it was probably returned): Thermaltake - Smart 600W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply

550 good quality is good enough.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16817151186 so I'm assuming this would be a great pick then, but i do plan to do some overclocking on my gpu, so would 550w suffice or would i need a 650 w

550 is enough even with overclocking. I will recommend TX550M for the current price point.
