Best PSU under £85?

Hello!

I'm in search of a new PSU for my system. The old PSU (Corsair CX550) dosen't seems to handle my new upgrade and shuts down during heavy load, like gaming etc.

So I need a new PSU and got a budget around £85.

The ones I've found that seems best are these two:

- Corsair CX 750 W Modular (around £65)

- XFX XXX Edition 850W 80+ Bronze (around £78)

My system:

Intel i7 920
Asus R9 280X Top
Asus P6T Deluxe
2 HHD
1 SSD
5-6 Fans

Which one do you recommend? Got a better suggestion?

Go with the XFX. They are arguably the best brand to make PSU's. That's also a lot of wattage. Too much is never a bad thing with PSU's.

the xfx is the better one but way more than you actually need. even the 750w version would suffice for crossfiring! if you will stick with just one gpu get the 650w xfx

Would you guys consider that a XFX Core edition 650W would be enough to power the system? Can I upgrade with a new motherboard + intel i7 4770k + extra harddrives later on and still use it?

The 650w or 850w?

that psu(xfx 650w) can run any single gpu configuration plus overclocking on both cpu and gpu!
