Best quality budget headphones

I'm looking to snag a set of over ear headphones for gaming.
Atm I'm using a pair of sennheiser phones but there on ear and after an hour or so there pretty uncomfortable I find.

I'm totally fine with 2.0 channel as I find simulated surround on 5.1 and 7.1 phones underwhelming. But if they support surround it's fine. What matters most overall is sound quality.

I use a desktop mic so no mic is necessary but if it has one it needs to be solid or none at all.

What would you're recommendations for 80$ or so Canadian?

I'm open to non gaming sets as well.

Are steelseries lower priced headsets any good?
I have an mx 750 and rival 600 so it wouldn't hurt my feelings to have another piece of gear from them.

The Steelseries (Arctis 5) are very comfortable, even for long periods.
You could adjust them to your liking and it has many sound settings.
Very good for the price.

I second the Arctis ones, my son got them and they are very comfortable. Sound quality will be comparable in all of them, really depends on personal preference.

Preferably better quality sound then my current sennheiser pair with more comfort.
I've heard great things about Steelseries art is headset comfort I just don't want to down grade in the audio department.
The ones I have are nothing expensive just the HD 205 ones.
