Hey guys so here is my current setup:
x299 aorus gaming 3 motherboard
7820x 8-core cpu
aorus extreme gtx 1080ti
2x8gb corsair rgb ram 3000mhz
Corsair Rm750x psu
Thermaltak m360 hardline tubing custom loop (kit)
Currently i am using all of the components that come in the m360 kit by thermaltak but i am looking for better cooling. I know that i can add 3 more fans for a push/pull on the rad to get some better cooling out of the system but i really dont want the rad to stick out any further. Plus i plan on adding an EK waterblock for my gtx1080ti as well as an EK monoblock so that i can cool the cpu caps and VRM more efficiantly so either way i look at it a second raditor just seems to do me most justice and thats what im pretty set on..
My first question.. I know that the radiator in the m360 kit is made out of like a special aluminum thats suppose to resist corrosion as they have added it to their m360 kits that have copper and nickel plating on their other components in the kit such as the m360 waterblock.
My question is can i just simply buy a non-aloy rad like your typical copper rad and add it to the loop? I would have to assume i could since the loop already has copper and nickel compenents like i was saying above. I am using thermaltak c1000 coolant which is suppose to help fight off corrsion.
IF i cant install a copper rad into this loop that already contains the m360 aloy rad then what do you advice me to do? should i ditch the stock m360 rad and just buy one bigger copper rad or maybe 2 smaller copper rads? or should i keep the stock m360 rad and go with another all aluminum rad instead?
I am SOOO confused here so if anyone has any advise for me it would be great help. I am pretty new to liquid cooling but have alot of pc eceriance and have read up alot about galvanic corrosion and propor watercooling which is why i am taking the proper percautions and asking you guys waht you think is best.
PS> my tower is the thermaltak p5.
