Best RAM for amd ryzen 1600 as of today

So I am going to be upgrading my pc in a few weeks. I was wondering what the best RAM will be for an AMD Ryzen 1600 cpu. I've seen some posting saying that more Mhz = better performance? But i was wondering how much better performance? I'm on a tight budget, so one stick of 8gb and another one in the future would be my plan.

My current build:
gigabyte 1050ti OC
128gb SSD
500gb HDD
asrock fm2...
Amd a8-6600K
8gb ddr3 ram
450W PSU

The upgrade:
Mobo: gigabyte ab350-gaming rev.1
CPU: Amd Ryzen 1600
RAM; Unknown

Depending on your which RAM MB supports. I would say G.SKILL TRIDENT Z 3200 Hz DDR4 is pretty good, flare also.

The most popular ram that users have had the most success with (in terms of overclocking) is the Flare series, but its very expensive. There's really no way to get around cost when it comes to quality ram. I guess you could wait for prices to come down.

If you are on a tight budget, I would go with a 3000MHz kit, timings doesn't have to be that good. I wouldn't go lower than 3000MHz though because Ryzen loves faster memory. Be aware that the 3000MHz memory will run at 2933 on a Ryzen system because that's how they roll and that's normal.

I checked compatible RAM list and only 3 brand with one specific ram of each is supported for 3000. You can find it online yourself.

to berendj i use the b350 gaming plus from msi and it have the rgb connector on it for led 5050 for ran try to fing g-skill f43200c14d the 16w-16r you could be able to go to 3200 in speed .
