Will be needing 16GB. I've been researching and saw some builds in pcpartpicker using Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 3200Mhz. I will be using the computer mainly for gaming. Would like to get your opinion on best brand, bandwidth and clock timing for Ryzen 5 3600/3600x. Also I saw some builds with 3600Mhz. Does B450 Gaming Carbon Pro even support it? TIA

What mostly determines your maximum or optimal memory speed is which Ryzen series you will be using. For Ryzen 3000, you would want to use 2x8GB at 3200-3600MT/s with lower timings being better. Ryzen 2000 will run best with 2x8GB at 2933-3466MT/s. Usually the higher the speed and the lower the timings, the better the quality of the modules. For 3200MT/s you would want CL14 or max of CL16 and for 3600MT/s you would want to get CL16 if you can...
Yes it does support 3600 mhz depending on what processor you use and how much tinkering you may have to go through.

My son's pro carbon is running a 2600x with G.Skill Flare X 3200 cl14 2x8 at it's rated speed with no issuse's.

I didn't try the G.Skill trident z royal gold 3600mhz cl16 i got for my 3600x on the pro carbon but did on a asus rog strix x470 f gaming when that 2600x was on it.
I did get it to run the 3600mhz but it took some tinkering and voltage to get to run.

Before buying ram double check the qvl support list for the processor you are going to be running for best compatibility.

Ryzen 2000 will run best with 2x8GB at 2933-3466MT/s. Usually the higher the speed and the lower the timings, the better the quality of the modules. For 3200MT/s you would want CL14 or max of CL16 and for 3600MT/s you would want to get CL16 if you can afford it and CL18 if you can't.

Running four modules will force you to use lower speeds, so make sure you know how much ram think you will need and buy accordingly. If you need 32-64GB in 2 or 4 modules, you would likely be stuck running maximum 2933-3333MT/s at CL14 or CL16 for Ryzen 3000. For Ryzen 2000 you will likely only reach 2933-3000MT/s CL14 with 2x16 or 4x8GB and only 2666-2800MT/s with 4x16GB.

For a first time or inexperienced builder, I suggest buying 3200MT/s CL16 for Ryzen 2000 or 3600 CL18 for Ryzne 3000. Those speeds are usually decently priced for 2x8GB and are probably the best option overall. Lower timings are going to cost much more and you likely won't notice any real benefit from the tighter timings when gaming. If you need or want to fill four slots, buy all the ram at once in a single kit and avoid messing around with two kits as they may have issues with compatibility. Adding more ram later on may work fine, but you risk incompatibility.

Edit - BTW, make sure if you buy a B450 motherboard, that it is advertised as Ryzen 3000 ready if you buy Ryzen 3000.
