What is the best ram to over-clock for around 3.5ghz on the E6600? I would be using the P5B-Deluxe Motherboard. I am looking at spending around $250 or below(preferred) to get great speed. I will also be using AIR cooling with the Tuniq Tuner 120 and 2 added fans in the P-180 Case.

Corsair DDR2 675 CL4 (either heatspreader). Theyre one of the best of the Corsair brand and theyve got a really nice rebate, will get alot farther than 3.5Ghz

He's talking about the PC2-5400 (675MHz) CL4 model ... :)
That one is cheaper, and has lower CL too ... I don't know about that newegg's specification, but the specification on Corsair's website states the XMS2 model for the 800MHz model is a CL5 instead ... but then, it might be a typo, or might be my mistake ...

Get the PC2-5400 with the black color heat sink, that thing had a 1028MHz@CL5@2.2V wall on me when I tested it on my ex-rig ... you might not be able to get what I achieved, but it would definitely get you above 3.5GHz easily on E6600 ... :)

I am recommending $/performance and the ideal memory for this case.
Not 'Corsair', they still suck
Meh ... Dario you suck ... :p

Ummm.....where did you two go wrong? I remember this confrontation type of conversation when WiZ83 was showing off with his new super pc :D

Kingston Value Ram PC4200 KVR533D2N4 9905260-001.C00LF
(micron D9DCN) is great. I've seen many guys could oced it to @900Mhz+ 4.4.4.12 2.2v
There is another KVR PC4200 (I dunno the item code) which use Hynix chipset, this one has good oc ability too.

I've heard Team Xtreem PC6400 CL4 price is cheaper than other but I'm not sure bout its price in your country.

Thats great potential considering they arent even using Fatbody ICs.
Sadly its $107 per GB on newegg.

Hmmm ... that's a bit weird, I thought I left them inside when I took the pictures ...

Anyway, don't buy the XMS Dominator series, it's a total rip off I personally think.

XMS Dominator 800MHz @ 4-4-4-12 - Wall at 868MHz
XMS Dominator 800MHz @ 5-5-5-12 - Wall at 1012MHz

Corsair XMS2 Twin2X 675MHz @ 5-5-5-12 - Wall at 1028MHz

We found a champ here ... :) and it costs way less than the Dominators ... TOTAL RIP OFF ...

1 so far, I'm writing my experience ...
What I'm trying to say is, those modules are cheaper than Dominators ... and has higher performance/$ ... :)

has higher performance/$ ...
I know they do. But you can have for sure that not all 675 will hit even close to 500Mhz. I have seen many cases of this hitting around 400Mhz.
The reason why you got those amazing speeds is because, due to the high demand on the 675 series, Corsair has been forced to use some of their chips reserved for 800CL4 in these modules.

If only there's a way to figure out which of those 675MHz modules are actually installed with 800CL4 ones ... I'd definitely buy those ...

Mind to share some insider sources as where I could get those 800CL4 in 675CL4 models? Or even want to send me free modules? :p

If only that I got those modules sent to me for free, I'd build my new system as soon as tomorrow ... :p

I will be configuring a system with a E6600 and expect to push it to 3.5 aprox (air cooled). I saw that before you quoted the Corsair 675 as a very good ram, but you mentioned (Wiz) that this RAM is 5-5-5-12.

In Tigerdirect, they have this RAM, but they have it 4-4-4-12. Is that a mistake by them, or actually is that way?.

Corsair TWINX

Will I be fine with this RAM overclocking my E6600?
