[SOLVED] Best ram for ryzen 1600?

Hello! Looking to add 16gb of ram, but my techie friends said that ryzens treat ram differently, and so I don't know what kind of ram to get. Motherboard is an asrock AB350 pro4

For first generation Ryzen the best to go with is 3000, it will either run at 3000 or 2933 (the difference is negligible). I would make sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date as that will help with memory compatibility/stability. Once updated then enable XMP in the BIOS for the memory to run at the correct speed. Install the memory into slots A2/B2.
