Best RAM to go with new set up

Hi every,
My new set up will include an
Asus H-97 Plus
Intel Core i7 4790
Samsung 840 EVO
My old GPU (HD 7870 O/C)

I'm also in need of some RAM (about 16GB)
Currently I have G skill Ripjaws (2x8gb), but wondering if there would be any benefits of getting any new RAM, would it make much of a difference or just stick with the old sticks?

Just stick the old ones.. I'm guessing they are 1600MHz?.. That is more than enough for gaming

Yeah the ram speed performance differences are marginal at best. I really cant tell the difference between 1600 and 2400.. But i dont compile or decode (much)

What you have is prob sufficient, don't know what freq - 1600 is basically entry level and with your CPU 2133 would prob be about tops it could carry
