best router for gaming without lag spikes im having currntly !

so i currently own a dl link 524 and i get stuttering/spikes when gaming [dota 2]
upstairs and phones are connected to the wireless so when they are connected i get lag spikes , how to avoid this should i upgrade to a better wireless ? suggestion me please

I suspect, the phones are not simply connected but also doing things on the internet, which of course would be using available resources.

If they are Apple phones, I bid you best of luck, as Apple chooses not to implement any sort of Quality of Service, leaving their devices to congest traffic where they shouldn't. You would be best to look for a router than supports bandwidth capping specific devices or addresses to deal with phone users who are using too much bandwidth.

could you suggest me one im new please? and its my sister that only goes in facebook not really that much to waste.. but still unstable

Best bet is to get a decent dual band router. Use one band for household items, and the other for phones. If your phones are set to auto-connect to a specific band, they'll not connect to the one your house uses. You can also set bandwidth limits on each band used, and also set house band as priority. This should prevent any unwanted bandwidth hogs

facebook is media rich and can easily use more bandwidth than you may realize.
