Hey guys so what's the best router out there to buy to play games online flawlessly, and to download things the fastest I can? Thanks for the help guys!

almost any router will be plenty adequate for your gaming. Most are at least 1 Gigabit. Higher end new models nowadays are at least 10 Gigabit. The slower speed exceeds all available networks except those areas with fiber optic speeds (Verizon FIOS, AT&T Fiber, Google Fiber), which it equals.

So build quality is what will matter. D-Link, Netgear, TP-link, Linksys are all good brands. Avoid Belkin, and names youve never heard of.
