Question Best Self-Set Settings For My RTX 4070

Dear Folks

I have tried my best to listen to and watch the people on YouTube tell me about settings, but they're too fast-talking or there's a language barrier, so I wanted to ask here if somewhere a gamer has set his GPU to his liking and has written them down. I know that's a lot to ask, but I have little experience in doing this and would like my GPU to be the best it can be.

Can anyone link me to something like that or if you have a 4070, would you share your settings with me?

I'm really not sure what type of "settings" you are talking about.

Modern GPUs typically have auto-boosting capabilities that are good enough for 99% of gamers out of the box. The only extra setting I prefer is to install a GPU software such as MSI Afterburner and set a custom (typically the default "custom") fan profile to allow the fan to run a bit faster sooner rather than later in the temperature range.

I think its best that you leave settings alone if you do not know how to do it. I think you mean overclocking gpu to best setting to get more boost!. I think its best to let your 4070 run at the speed it desgined to do because your not going to gain much FPS or performance

I'm 73 and not well-versed in technical stuff, but I think you believe I'm up to no good here with all your talk of overclocking and "boost", and that's just not true. If this explanation is unsatisfactory to you, may I suggest you contact someone in authority and lodge a complaint.

Not sure what you are saying. They could be some sort of language barrier as people all over the world use this site and believe me we help everyone no matter where they live if we can.

Video cards are fairly simple install it. install the driver and enjoy nothing else you got to do to use it.

Feel free to post a link to the YT video if you wish. That might help us understand what help your looking for.
