Hey, I'd like to help you out here, but you'll have to be quite a bit more specific;
could you post your entire system specs, and possibly a picture of the blue screen or what error message its giving you?

There are 14 possible sets of Silverline 2X2GB -> http://www.mushkin.com/Memory/Silverline.aspx

The latest BIOS version is F6 http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3515#bios {Improve Auto Green LAN compatibility}

There are only 2 DIMM slots, so if you have a 2X2GB they're all filled; one stick either channel should work.

Q - What OS?
Q - What Model of Silverline?
Q - Was the RAM sold as a Set? If not then pull 1-stick.
Q - Are you running AHCI Mode for the SATA?
Q - What if ANY BIOS changes?

OS, run MSCONFIG -> select Diagnostic and restart. If the BSOD disappears then it's a Conflict.

If you're running Windows 7 then Open the Event Manager and look for 'Critical' errors and post them here. {see image} Windows XP review the Dump File -> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315263

If 1 stick and MSCONFIG fails then see if the Gigabyte drivers per the link above are all up-to-date.

Failure, create a 'bootable' Memtest CD/DVD {ISO/zip} http://www.memtest.org/ run at least 2 passes.

Other symptoms: If the PSU is failing then you'll have all sorts of oddball things, sudden stops/starting/unpredictable failures. Typically the Event Manager or Debug will simply have 'Sudden Shut Down' with inconstant BSOD errors.

You can also try to Load Failsafe in the BIOS.

The the system specs:
GIGABYTE GA-880GM-D2H AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model 996585
AMD Athlon II X3 445 Rana 3.1GHz 3 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Desktop Processor ADX445WFGMBOX.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

I built the system for a friend of mine so i'll be getting it this weekend to rectify. The Bsod error on screen was referring to shadowing caching probably they're other errors but i'll now when i get the pc never had that problem before on other pc built. My first time buying mushkin brand memory, in order to get the system to post i had to use standard DDR3 memory so i could change the timing for the mushkin memory to work. All the setting in bios are stock nothing change AHCI mode isn't on the default is IDE. I'll be grateful for the help.

First, on page 28 follow the procedure on Clear CMOS. Next, as I mentioned above open the Windows 7 Event Manager and expand the [+] Critical Errors tree and post {here} what errors are listed - especially repeated errors.

Also, try (1) one stick of RAM. The RAM you selected should be fine for AMD, but a bad stick can cause this error.
