I have the Cougar Solution Steel case (I can already hear laughter). I tried doing a front intake, but it readdy did no service for me, everything got even warmer, but then again I only had 2 fans
First time i added fans to my tower, mine got warmer too. I just ended having them in the wrong setup.
But a front intake fan should never cause an increase in temperatures unless hot air pockets are forming.
Typically, people use dry ice to trace the flow of air through their towers to see how its moving and to detect air pockets [if you have dry ice, try it...if you don't, then a little bit of smoke from a cigarette or something else will work too]
