Question best single player 1st person shooter

looking for a decent 1st person shooter with single player mode too. It seems more and more of these games are becoming online multi player or am I wrong?

MY favorites were call of duty, battlefield and some of those types.. with action and a good story..



any recommendations for single player?

Lol, I was going to suggest Doom 2016. Have you tried Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus? I really liked that one. Long game.
