Best Software For Checking CPU & GPU Temperature?

Hi,
I am looking for an easy to use software that contains no spyware, virus, toolbars etc. that lets me see the temperature of my CPU and GPU.

If you want trouble-free CPU temperature monitoring, download CoreTemp.

For GPU temperature monitoring, use GPU-Z. I would avoid EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner if you are not going to overclock as both (especially Afterburner) are known for causing problems like system freezes, game crashes etc. even without overclocking.

Alternatively for an all-in-one solution, use HWInfo, it's a bit more complicated to use but monitors absolutely everything.

Thank you for your reply. I have heard rumors that there are viruses that comes with core temp. Is that true, because I don't want to take a risk.

What about software like HWmonitor?
