about 100ft away max and the walls are drywall but my frontier router wifi doesnt reach her. link to my apt layout all on ground level

100 feet is pushing it these days, while the specs say it should reach there's a lot of interference from competing signals now. Have you tried moving your router? You'd want it against the wall closest to your neighbor. Raising it higher can also help. For example, on top of a bookshelf. And avoid placing it behind signal obstacles, anything metal, thick glass, or electrically "noisy" appliances like fluorescent bulbs, dimmer switches, microwaves, etc.

Ummm....I'd recommend removing the map to your house...there are some scary people on the Internet, and alot of them know how to work Google maps 🙁

(With regards to the extension of the wifi, I've heard people put it centrally to cover thier whole house so moving to that side?
...boosters/extenders also an idea, probably need to link up with an extender in the neighbours house...not sure it can be done....cheaply)

Edit: I struggled to get my wifi 20 feet to my ps3, 2 outside walls to go though <_<
Ended up having to go with a 30 foot ethernet cable, works a treat, probably not an option here ^_^

If you connect to the router, with say a tablet or phone, how far away from your place, close to hers, can you get before it drops out completely
Might give you a benchmark for the level you need to boost to?

If you've got a double pane window, insulated, thick glass, UV coating etc, it can actually reduce or block your signal compared to trying to go through drywall and wood studs. Jen_Sai has a great idea, check your current range and see how moving/raising your router changes the distance you're getting.

Those may work if you have line of sight, when set up as an outdoor bridge. They are not routers.
