well, in your case, I'd recommend you put your OS on that drive. It will help your system's performance a lot more that way, downside is, it will use a bunch of that drive's space and limit how much other software you can put on it. SSDs don't help gaming performance, except in loading times.

That's a very generic question.

What system is this going into?
How much space do you need?
How much do you want to spend?
What will be on this drive?
Is this the only drive in the system?


Or...ignore those questions and get a Samsung 850 EVO SATA III, in whatever size your budget allows.
