Best storage HDD

Hi all

I have a Samsung 840 evo 120GB I'm using as my boot drive, but I'm struggling to find a decent mechanical 1TB drive to use for my mass storage of pictures etc, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

The WD Cavalier Blue is the best value for a 1 TB HDD.

I have been using Barracudas as storage drives for the past 2 years and only had one go bad because I connected it while the PC was on, which fried the PCB (user error). Seagate has really stepped up their reliability after the terribly 7200.11 drives. The 7200.14 drives are pretty much the 'go-to' drive whether its for an expensive build or a budget gaming build imo.

However the WD drives are just as good, so it's really whatever floats your boat, cant go wrong with either.
