[SOLVED] Best studio headset for pc gaming

Not a huge fan of gaming headsets so I’m looking for a studio headset to use, any one have any suggestions?

What was it you didn’t like? Problem with audio choice is it’s very personal choice. What did you use to drive the headset? I did find they really benefited from a DAC/AMP.

I used the sound blaster x I think it was called. I was looking into some audio technicas like m50x I think there called.

Its hard to say what you are going to like without any context.
What about your previous headphones did you not like (too much bass, not enough, treble, etc?).

I just moved to some Phillips Fidelio X2HRs and have really enjoyed them. But, we need to know what it is that you are looking for.

If you hadn’t said you didn’t like the 712 Pro’s they would be my first thought. I wonder how much was down to the soundcard/settings. Another option that is popular for gamers is the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO

The M50 for most people have a worse sound than the AKGs you did not like, the 40 model is better.

I think Audio-Technica BPHS1 Broadcast Stereo headset us for best choice for you if you are looking for studio type of headset. It has the best mic but the sound you'll get the stereo.

That set uses XLR not a standard computer connections, not really a good selection for the use it will be for.
