Hi.

I'm looking for a computer or a tablet to study with. At the moment I'm stuck with my desktop which is really a pain as I will be needing the computer in the library and school. What I'm looking for is a good browser, fast start up, and really good for typing documents also something that is compatible with all formats like Microsoft Office, Libre etc etc.

What I've in mind after abit of research is the new Chromebook, problem is that after seeing a youtube review it seemed to be slow when browsing high demanding websites. The other option I had in mind was the windows tablet as it has a keyboard attached, which is really thin as well.

I'd love a mac computer, but that is not an option as they cost more than my car... (metaphorically)

Youtube, spotify (I can use the browser one) maybe some movies yes. No games as I do own xbox 360. That is all, I guess.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I need something that will be able to handle alot of tabs. (around 6)

They cost 1845 USD where I'm, more than mac >_<. But I really don't think I need to spend that much for a computer that I will only study with.

Around 600 USD sounds reasonable, although I would prefer lower as I'm a student after all. :)

Actually, as it is a laptop: I'd rather have a brand new one. The battery will just end up dying on me all the time.

Lenovo G505s (59373010)

How about this one, it comes with the flagship amd a10 APU, a quad core which beats i3 performance and i5 graphics. comes with a generous 6 Gb for ram, multiple tabs shouldnt be a problem and it has a massive 1 Tb HDD
