Best Sub-140mm FM2 Cooler?

I am in the market for a small fm2/fm2+ cpu air cooler! Unfortunately, the Hyper 212 won't fit my case, which allows 140mm or smaller coolers.

If I do overclock it will be very minimal, maybe from the stock 3.7 to 4.0, on my Athlon x4 860k.

All suggestions will be greatly appreciated! My budget is around $50, give or take a few bucks.


Build: Athlon x4 860k, Gtx 750ti, 8gb Ram, 430w psu, Silverstone Precision PS08 case (should have though my case options through a bit more)

Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme is a very good 120 mm cooler. Much more robust than a Hyper 212 EVO. Better base, larger radiator. Not to mention a much better system for mounting the cooler. It utilizes the stock AMD backplate. eBay is a good place to find it.

The Hyper 212 is sub 140 mm. It is 120 mm. I thought you meant the fan itself. The total height is 154 mm iirc. To get sub 140 mm "height" you would actually need a cooler with a 92 mm fan which I would advise against. My advice would be to buy a downdraft cooler.
