Looking for under $200 gaming 1080p monitor, a high hz and low response time would be nice. Whatever is best for gaming. I am running a gtx 1070.
How good is this option?

2 questions: Am I wasting money on AMD Sync? And does the jump to 27" effect gaming negatively?

For example: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-G247HYL-bmidx-23-8-Inch-Widescreen/dp/B00VX3KAAS/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1473826322&sr=8-5&keywords=gaming%2B1080p%2Bmonitor
the 27 inch version is the same price, do I lose gaming fluidity?

Look at reviews of my monitor - ViewSonic VX2252mh. It's a gaming monitor but I don't use it for gaming, I find the 2ms response time perfect for watching videos on.

Thats good, I am looking for a slightly larger monitor (Ill change Question) i think prob without speakers because of price, but the 2ms response is very nice

Don't get the Viewsonic, them and AOC cut corners on their products frequently, and it can result in a flickering effect on some models, don't risk it.
Here is a solid 144hz monitor for the price that is great value: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/PmyFf7/acer-monitor-umfg6aab01

I HIGHLY recommend you spend more on a 1440p 144hz monitor however, a 1070 will be overly equipped to run at 1080p, and would be better suited to a higher resolution. :(
I recommend saving up and getting this: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/sqp323/acer-monitor-xf270hu

Thats an amazing monitor, but simply too much. What is the cheapest option for 1440p? A 1440p would be amazing but it is very expensive.

Okay, so 1070 is obviously way overkill for 1080p games now. But I want this build to last as long as possible, in a few years with new games coming out will the build last longer with a 1080p? It wont be underpowered with my card as fast? I wont have upgrading options in a few years so I really want to make it last, even if it means sacrificing potential 1440p glory now. Plus I cant afford it.

I would assume beacuse the 1070 is so strong that even though it is too good for 1080 now in a few years it wll even out. I do not have the money to upgrade in a few years so it seems like 1080p works best for the long run?
I aslo cannot afford a 1440p now. It is simply too much my build already took everyhting I have. I could drop to a 1060 and get a nice 1080p?
I really just want what will last longer. Would going 1060 1080p gaming be the best choice for the future?
