I've noticed on a few other forums that this same GPU has been noted to sag a bit which could apparently cause PCB damage over time however are there any brackets/risers that you could recommend I buy to prevent this GPU sagging

If you haven't purchased the parts for your build yet, you could try and look into cases that have a GPU support built into it, like Deepcool's stuff or their ilk.
