I will be receiving a GTX 970 soon so in the build i will not be needing this in the build. i am wanting a computer that i can put lots of stress and that i can keep nice a cool it will be used for gaming. i do prefer windows 7 and a closed loop liquid cooler.
this is what i got http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wWYP99 im pretty sure there is better though

Solution
Oh, I see.

Even a MicroATX case can be hard to transport. If you can though, look at the 450D or CM 912, they are both pretty close (dimensions wise) to a 350D. Also take a look at the Air 540, it could be much easier to transport but it will depend on how you plan on doing it.
Well, unless you really want a Micro ATX build...

This would leave some room in the budget for a better cooler.

oh no no it does not need to be a micro Mtx that is just something i put together real quick. but i do not want a huge full tower case either because that is what i have now (ThorV2) and its a pain when i want to take it with me places

Lets say i get the 450D or any other mid tower case. shouldn't i get a normal atx board to fill the space? if so which one would you recommend? are there any major differences between a micro and just a normal atx?

The Extreme 4 is a great board for the price, it is in my build above.

Usually the only difference is that you can't fit as many PCI slots, sata ports (there are usually less) and fan headers on a Micro ATX board. Sometimes though, power phases and component quality are cut down in order to save on costs.
