I am looking for something affordable to put all my ebooks and maybe take notes surpassing the traditional notebook way. I was thinking on a galaxy tab but i was looking something safer and comfortable for my eyes. Ill be studying from this table on and taking all class notes in it.

I recommend you look into the Surface 3 or the Surface Pro 3 / 4 version if you want to splurge. The Surface 3 starts at $500, but you need to purchase the keyboard (about $150) and the pen to get the full functionally. It uses an Intel Cherry Trail generation Atom CPU. It is not as powerful as a Core i3 CPU, but it should be good enough.

The Surface Pro 3 starts at $699 (Core i3), and it comes with the pen. The Surface Pro 4 starts at $899 (pre-order) and I think it comes with the pen as well.

Below is a "student guide" regarding what you can do with the Surface...

Jaguar i loved the youtube guide. The surface pro 3 has a lot of awesome features i did not know. The voice recording while you take notes feature is awesome. I will have it in mind although is a little price for me. Lets concentrate on something that let me read ebooks, take notes using a "pen" and organize them by class and day. Something easy on the eyes since i always got tired while studying of a monitor or celphone. Accepting more suggestions.
