Best thermal paste for Corsair 115i? ASAP if possible

Solution
There is only a 1-3 degree difference between the most expensive pastes and average pastes. You have to get into exotic stuff like liquid metal to get better results. Or de-lidding and lapping.

Also depends on the CPU cooler. Very shiny nickel plated coolers need a more fluid paste. Rougher bottomed coolers, and those with exposed heatpipes, should rely on thicker compounds to fill in the large gaps. Arctic MX-4 is a nice mix between the two extremes.
Arctic MX-4 (Not to be confused with Arctic Silver, they are different companies)

Arctic Silver is metal bearing and has a curing time. If you get it on the motherboard or CPU it can create a short. It has a long reputation, but it really doesn't come near the top end of performance any longer.

Thermaltake, Tuniq, and a few other brands make thermal compound that are all around the same performance level. Basically just go a step above the cheapest and you have decent thermal compound.

To be honest any will do just fine. No thermal paste works best with different type of coolers. Look at any thermal paste that a store sells some are better than others but temp difference is so small.
