Prices are lowest when a newer architecture comes out- AMD are releasing new gpus and cpus and NVIDIA new gpus sometime this year, so the older ones drop in price as the sellers try to sell them quickly to get rid of stocks. You will get some really good bargains at that time, but the official dates are not confirmed. Hope I could help
