Hi all, I am going to college soon and I need a new laptop. My needs:
A Graphics Card to run some demanding games (like Dark Souls 3 or Outlast 2)
Touchscreen (don't care if it flips or not)
Lightweight (have to carry it around)
14-inch screen preferably (I found it best for me)

I can go to $1100 but that is it... So, any recommendations?

Thanks a lot!

Hi guys, I wanted to buy a new laptop and I have thoroughly searched the internet to find the perfect one for me. In the end, here are my picks:
Lenovo Thinkpad T480s 14inch; MX150 2GB; i5-8350U; Touchscreen; 8GB RAM; and 126GB SSD (1.37kg).
ASUS Zenbook Flip 14 Convertible Laptop 14inch; MX150 2GB; i7-8565U; Touchscreen; 16GB RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD (1.49 kg).
ASUS ZenBook Pro UX480 14Inch; GTX 1050 2GB; i7-8565U; Touchscreen; 8 GB RAM; 256 GB SSD (1.6 kg).

My needs: Good build quality, 14 inches (or 13.9 inches) screen, Touchscreen, Light-weight (college-student), graphics for playing games and editing videos.
All of them are at similar prices for me and the only good ones on my budget but I can't decide which one to get. I have a Lenovo laptop and I am happy with its build quality but it has some heating issues. I don't know about ASUS and how are their laptops. So, which one of these should I get?

According to your needs, Zenbook Pro 14 will be the best for you.

No Thunderbolt-3 but it will serve you better than the other 2 laptops.

No big difference in portability
but if build quality, durability or battery backup is your top priority, then get the Lenovo Thinkpad T480s. Avoid the 1366 x 768 model.

Hi guys, I am looking for a new laptop. So, my needs:

  1. I wanna do audio and 1080p heavy video editing (using Mixcraft and sony vegas) on it.
  2. I want to play some light games (CSGO) (Maybe Dark Souls 3) [P.S. I was a huge gamer about a year ago but now I have stopped playing most new games and just play sometimes with friends; also I think gaming will be a good distraction from my engineering studies].
  3. I want it to be light and have great battery life (will be carrying it around on campus).
  4. I want a touchscreen and good build quality.
So, I searched the entire internet for the best match and I found these:

Lenovo Flex 14 (it is cheap and basic, will just replace RAM with 16GB stick)

Lenovo Yoga 720 (256GB SSD Model)

OR Lenovo Yoga 720 (512GB SSD Model)

https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Yoga-...n:9521908011&rnid=9521907011&s=pc&sr=1-2&th=1

Dell XPS 15 9560 (Will Replace the RAM to 16GB) Also, is it worth the best build quality?

https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Infinit...se-bin:9521908011&rnid=9521907011&s=pc&sr=1-6

Lenovo 720s 15IKB 15.6 inch

https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-81CR0...1&rnid=9521907011&s=pc&sr=1-4#customerReviews

So, this is it. Which one should I get? My budget was around 1100 but should I go the extra mile for Dell XPS?

Please help! And also, please don't drop your suggestions cause I have seen every laptop out there and I don't think I need suggestions now. It will be one of these...

Thanks!
