Best TV for a PC gaming monitor? Bad back and bound to the couch/bed :(

I know i know.. there are loads of issues with using a tv as a monitor: latency, resolution, picture engines for the tv's, fuzzy font: But... considering i cant sit at a desktop for more than five minutes because of my back- and i love to game.. i need a solution..

So in your opinion, what am i looking for here to be my best solution?
I have 500 to spend at this very moment, if i need to save up more i will- would REALLY like to stay under 1000 though.

you can get a large Monitor instead of a TV something like this 29 inches there's bigger ones too

yes but i would really like to purchase something i could use as a tv as well. I would need at least 40" to view from my bed and that is kind of out of my price range if i was going to purchase a monitor that big- so thats why i was hoping to find a TV that would work
