I watch a lot of movies off my computer and want to upgrade sizes from my 29' monitor. So I was thinking of around a 40' tv. However I don't want this to effect my gaming. Pretty much want the highest resolution and lowest input lag tv/monitor for my computer. Any suggestions?

Ive never had much luck with tvs working on my computer . None of my hd tvs had vga on them and i always tried hdmi and the input lag was horrible and it would never adjust to the right resolution. My friend has a vizio with vga and it works great.

The only down size to a big tv on 1080p is the pixel size, it wont look as nice as your monitor. You might be better going 27" 1440p or 32" 1600p but they are more money. Snagged my xstar 1440p for 289 and it looks amazing. Have it overclocked to 96hz as well. Much smoother than my 22" 2ms monitor

They do have the 40" 4k sieke tvs on amazon for like 350ish which isnt a mbad option either but youd need some serious gpu power. Like two of your gpus id say
