So, I have a revised question to ask in regards to my pc build where I'm trying to maximize my budget (sold my rx 6800 for $250, when to the casino flipping it for $1510).. My pc specs are 7900x, 128gb ram 2 1TB SSD, 1 TB SSD and 24TB HDD with no GPU (sold rx 6800). If I'm unable to catch a $749 RTX 5070 Ti from micro center, what would be my second and third option of a GPU to choose from... My usage of this pc is for content creation, video editing, animation, light - moderate gaming via fighting games, souls likes, productivity. Programs include adobe photoshop, after effects, illustrator, Moho pro, toon boom studio, Maya, 3D studio Max, clipstudio and krita...

I've added links of GPU's currently in stock at Micro center in brooklyn, I will try to purchase after my 9am - 5pm job is over on 7/21/25

Nvidia tends to support AI/digital art stuff better than AMD.

You gave three choices. The 5070TI is the strongest of those three.

The 9070XT would be a good choice, if your applications will work well with it. You need to check.

I would not recommend the 7900XT. It is last gen. I have both a 7900XTX (game rig) and 7800XT (my Ollama rig), to alleviate any notions of bias.

As good for the price as the 9070XT is, for work with graphics of any kind and AI, Nvidia has a definite edge. AMD is claiming to have a competitive product for next gen but until then team green is the best for professional work.

why is the 7900 XT and XT a bad idea if I'm unable to get a MSRP 5070 Ti. Wouldn't the 7900 XT be as strong as a RTX 3090 and 7900 XTX run near a 4080 - 4090?

You asked for a comparison and "best" of three choices. That is what was offered.

You were also advised, by more than one of us, that Nvidia generally supports the things you mentioned doing better than AMD.

Now, the 7900 XTX and XT are excellent GPUs, but maybe not as good for your stated uses. Doesn't mean using one is a "bad idea", it just means there are stronger options dependent on use-case.

Any of the options you asked about will perform well. Buy what you can afford and press on.
