Hi, Mate. I need advise for upgrading my GPU, 1060 3gb.

Today's spec:
MSI GTX 1060 ARMOR 3G
Ryzen 1600
8GB RAM
Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4
1366x768 pixels monitor
520w Seasonic PSU

What's best upgrade for gaming on 1080p resolution?

Reason:
I would upgrade today's monitor to 1080p 60/75hz monitor this week. No need for higher one, budget reason.
This 1060 3gb of mine still can't keep up to 60fps steadily even on 1366x768 res, ultra/max setting while playing The Witcher 3. Still get sudden drop to 40s and it's annoying.

Would louk around on some 2nd hand sites (buying and trying out from seller directly recommended). Never had any problems with that.

Weird thing is, I think the witcher 3 should play at a stable 60fps on ultra on 1080p... But if you really want to score an upgrade, the rtx 2060 or the vega 56/64 are "budget" options for 1080p max gaming. Although the vega cards mind need some tweaking (undervolting,...) to get the most performance from.

I am running an vega 56, undervolted I get 120-144 fps at 1080p ultra on the witcher 3. But the 2060 will probably give better performance at stock. A 1070/980TI are also good options if you find a deal.

Both should be around 200$ max at 2nd hand marketplaces.

Also watch your PSU, for those cards...

Nice range for choices. I forgot to mention PSU, mine is Seasonic 520 and no plan for upgrading it. Again, budget reason.

Second hand 1070 seems nice, is there any equivalent one from AMD?
