Best Upgrade Opportunity?

It's that time of year again -- meaning every 6 months I usually look at doing some sort of upgrade to my system....

I was thinking of adding an additional GTX1080... or perhaps something else....

What would the most effective upgrade be? I do light video editing, P3D V4 (with max addons) and Call of Duty type games. P3D can slow to the sub-9 FPS range in some scenery areas with my current setup.

Asus Z170 Deluxe
Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4-3200 (2 x 16gb)
Asus GTX 1080 Strix

Corsair H75 cooler
Samsung 2 TB 960 PRO

SLI is not worth it for gaming, very few games support it and even fewer do it well. Maybe step up to a i7 8700 or 8700K and Z370 Board.
