I am looking to upgrade my graphics card from a AMD Radeon R5 330 Graphics card to the best I can without updating my Power supply if I can help it if not I am looking for a power supply as well

But I must be able to connect 3 monitors to it and to be good enough to play racing games on line

My computer is a Pavilion 550-178na (energy Star) Desktop computer with these specs

Motherboard is a HP 2B47 (U3EI)
CPU is a intel core i7 6700
Ram is 16GB
Graphics are an integrated HD graphics 530 or a fitted AMD Radeon R5 330 Graphics card
Power supply is internal 180W PSU

any help will be most appreciated

cheers

Yeh nah unfortunately the PSU needs to be upgraded if you are going to use a decent gpu. Depending on resolution used+settings you want to play with I'd say anything like a 1060/1070/1080 would be a great match for your 6700.

honestly.. with pre-built systems you generally cannot go without changing the PSU, unless you are upgrading to a very low end GPU.

another thing is that it's very difficult to judge which PSU could fit in your PC-Case, since some companies make custom enclosures for their builds.

I looks at some pics from your PC, and it looks to have a standard sized PSU, This you should definetly check with a measuring tape (open up the side and make sure you got a standard size, compare your dimensions to the ones found on retails websites of the PSU you may choose).

You've got a great CPU, and basically have the choice of any GPU that your budget would allow!

For your needs though, I would suggest you upgrade your PSU+GPU. If budget allows you could go upto gtx1080 for smoothest performance, lower cards could work as well, it just depends really on how much activity is going to be going on on all the monitors? all 3 playing 1 game? this all comes to details

but as far as PSU goes.. you don't have to worry, it's a small fraction of the cost of a GPU... and if you are willing to spend a pretty penny on a GPU, you can definetly fit a PSU in that budget, you could come out with as low as

B series evga power supplies are bad

That i7 is a 65W CPU. 180-65=115. That's assuming all 180W are available on the 12V output where your CPU and videocard need it. Unfortunately that's not how it works. Not only that, but you don't want your power supply working at maximum load anyways. So I think it's a safe guess that you probably have less than 50W to use on a videocard.

The only card I'd consider with that power supply is the GT 1030, it's a 30W card and guess what? Your R5 330 is a 30W card. So if that R5 can be powered by your computer, so can the 1030.

Last issue, is a 1030 going to be enough? I don't know. You didn't name any games. I can say it will run games far better than that 330.

with your specs you should be looking at something like this
