BEST UPS for CORSAIR RM650

i want to buy a new ups for my rm 650 since my pc restarts abruptly in case of power failure. i think its the ups which is troubling me. i also learned that pure sine wave ups are damn costly so which is a good alternative for the corsair rm 650. THANKS

I look to size a UPS based upon the amount of power the system users at max load x 2..... so a 650 watt PSU that draws 500 watts at max load, I'd look for 1000VA

Need depends on your power draw, not PSU wattage rating. You'll need something like this to measure the wattage draw "at the wall".

if you draw 500 watts and nothing else is plugged in 1000VA is just fine.... If you plugging monitor and other stuff in then ya gotta go bigger. I use a 1500VA model w/ 1250 watt PSU ... draws 745 watts at the wall under stress test

I would not use anything from APC.... since they were taken over by Schneider Electric, quality and service has gone in the toilet
