Hi guys,

I'm in the search for a new battery equipped UPS. I currently have an APC UPS pro 600 or something along those lines. It has a new battery but after any major usage such as in game the UPS will beep and the overload (red colored) light will show. We were originally going to just remove the wires for the speaker but the battery discharge light has already came on once so I don't think that's a smart idea.

My pc specs are as follows

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912
PSU: EVGA Supernova 1000 G2
MoBo: Gigabyte P67X-UD3-B3
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500k
Ram: Patriot G2-8GB-1333Mhz
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7990 (reference design)
CPU Cooler: Corsair A70
Monitor dell ST2421L

What would be the best UPS For this computer?

if you like leave you rig in a sleep mode or is a lot of electricity problems then yes you need( UPS)one other ways better way is upgrade motherboard with the latest one which is build protection in it already.so you can get two rabbits in one shot.

Ummm, I don't think you understood my post. Basically I have one of these: http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=bp650s

In it is a speaker, obviously. After upgrading my video card from the HD 6870 to the HD 7990, the computer is causing an overload on it which makes the APC beep. The main way to remedy this is to turn off CrossfireX so only one GPU runs. But then that defeats the purpose of the video card. So what I'm asking is whats the best option, replace this APC UPS with one that can deal with the power, or should I stick with a simple surge protector?
