Best used cpu+motherboard combo for under $300 aud?

Maybe like a 6th gen intel or something. I currently have something that performs like the ryzen 1300x so it would have to be faster than that. Not sure it can for the price but may aswell ask.

Hard to answer this question as when you're talking used prices, you're talking extremely volatile pricing.

i5 3470, donno if you can get better than that for under $300. the lga1155’s best cpu is like an extra 2 frames so i dont think id be using that

Need to keep in mind that if wanting to keep using dddr3 ram your options will be limited and i you are certain that the 3770K isn't much better than a total upgrade in time would be wiser.

What gpu are you using? If a better cpu wouldn't give much more fps could it well be this as well.
