best value 4k capable gpu

Just ordered a 4k 55" bravia and figure my g1 970 will barely work? Anyway I can spend a bit, no real budget but I dont want to end up spending more only a few months later if everything gets better..

Is it worth sli 970s while I wait and pick up a cheap 970 or should I shell out the extra to push it and get a 980 Ti? Is the Ti best bang for buck atm? Hybrid or G1?

Also is the Ti likely to drop much in value with comparison to two 970s (second hand value) or will it be worth while waiting till black Friday even though im in the uk?

best option is to wait for greenland or pascal
if you want it now, take a fury x (if you can get one) 980 ti, fury (non x) or 2 390's (x or not) but i would not go for crossfire or sli if you can get a single card with the same performance. multi gpu setups have more bugs and issues and it needs to be enabled (a lot of game's don't have multi gpu enabled at launch)

A single GTX970, R9 390, R9 390x, etc. are screaming on that resolution.

If you wanna game on 4k, you really have to do real investment.
e.g. Fury X, GTX980Ti, etc.
Some games needs even those GPUs on SLI/XFire to get high/ultra settings and decent fps.

There really isn't a good single GPU for 4K gaming yet. 980ti and FuryX come close, but they fall in the 40-45 FPS range.

You'll need Crossfire or SLI.

Say I buy a Ti/FuryX will they drop drastically when pascal comes out? Or will I able to by for say 500 sell for 350/400 and upgrade again then?
