Best Video card for 1920x1080 resolution at 1080p?

Radeon HD 7950. But if you need CUDA, then GTX 660 Ti.

between theese 2 i would definatly go with the 7950. Why? performance is better and, ofc, the cooling solution is way better than the blower from the 660.

Realistically both cards are overkill for most games at 1080p. It's only recent AAA titles that might present problems maxing out on lesser cards, and such games tend to be overrated anyway.

Performance wise the 7950 is faster, it runs closer to the GTX670 than the GTX660Ti so as long a the rest of the system can use it fully, and the powersupply is up to the job, I'd say your best choice is the HD7950.

@Blibba: You can never have enough graphics horsepower .

1. 7950 has 3GB of ram, nvidias max out at 2GB ( so it is a bit more future-proof)
2. You might want to look at non-Ghz ed 7970, that's 25% extra horsepower for not really that much more money, for even more future-proof-ness.
It all depends on your upgrade cycle... if you go only once per 3-4 years, than pick a more expensive card. If you upgrade every 2 years, get the cheaper one
3. 7000 series are quite overclockable ( I run mine 1080Mhz vs 925Mhz default, that's 16% extra, with no overvoltage ! )
4. AMD/ATI seems to magically get more performance from their drivers in time, while nvidia gets almost the "max" at launch, so don't expect much more out of them in time.

I was also thinking the same for the 1920x1080 resolution ,which card would be best...and after a lots of research on the internet i came to the conclusion that

1. Both the cards have nearly same performance resluts at 1080p but 7950 has a little bit upperhand regarding bandwidth(384 bit),memory(3 GB) and also i can say that 7950 comes in between gtx 670 and gtx 660ti.

2. In dual GPU performance 7950 crossfire beats the 660ti sli......but crossfiring has more problems than sli....read that amd is sorting out the crossfire problems.....

3.. So my choice is amd 7950
