best vidoe card for about 5000ils

I am buying a new computer(based on x99 I7 5820k) for 1440p high fps and mayby even 4k and I am looking for a vidoe card.I can get r290x tri x in about 2000. R290 windforce or tei x 1500 gtx 970 stock in about 1600 gtx780 1900 stock andbgtx 980 in 3000 for jetstream.this is plus hunderd minus hundred is the rabge of prices for each cars in ils sorry about the mess and the grammer i am writing from my phone and i am not a nairve english speaker.

Instead of getting R9 290X? Why not get the GTX 980? Or even the Titan X?

Titan x is "quite" too expnsivr and I want the best that you can get in this price range and by my understood gtx970 sli is more powerfull then one gtx 980 I kindaa thought to do a crossfire with 2 r290x or 3 r290 but i feard about the heat and the power consumptio.thx to ehoever answer
