First of all, hi to anyone reading this.

Recently I purchased an LG G4 Stylus. It looked like a nice phone. Here are the full specs: http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_g4_stylus-7212.php
The model I purchased was an 8GB one with 1GB of ram. I thought to myself: Meh, what could possibly go wrong with it?

Here's the deal: I NEED a new phone. I can't stand this one. It's got lots of great features I like: nice interphase, nice big screen, long battery life, powerful speakers, phablet form factor, decent camera, etc. However, there are TWO things that drive me completely insane:

1. Memory: it only has 8GB of memory. My god did I learn my lesson. I will never buy an 8GB smartphone again. 5GB (4.89GB...) go to the OS. That leaves me with 3GB. 1.5GB go to google drive, docs, sheets, powerpoint, music, play, EVERYTHING google related. I'm left with 1.5GB. NOW I download the apps I want to use. That's another 1GB. Now I'm left with 500MB. I CAN'T GO A WEEK WITHOUT THE PHONE TELLING ME THAT MY STORAGE IS LOW. And before anyone suggests that I root my phone: I've thought about it, however, that still wouldn't completely solve the next big issue.

2. Performance/Speed: that 1GB of ram and that processor...god. With this phone I discovered that if there's ONE thing I REALLY can't stand, it's when my phone can't keep up with me. And no, I'm not a power user. But I like writing fast in whatsapp without the phone lagging every few times. I like browsing without my phone freezing for 7 seconds so that I can use it for a couple of more seconds. There are web pages I can't even navigate because it freezes every 2 seconds! (mobile version of this for example: http://fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_classes_in_Fire_Emblem_Fates). I just want to quickly change between apps, quickly browse web pages, quickly type in apps, watch youtube videos without the phone lagging, that's all. I'm not asking for gaming, powerhouse mobile features. Just a fast, non-freezing, phone.

So in summary, I'm looking for a new phone. I'd like it to have the following features:

1. Price: I'll pay up to $500. I don't plan on paying $700 or $1000 for a phone. Like I said, I don't think I'm asking for a lot. No overpowered graphics capabilities or processors or 1440p screens. Just a fast performing device for most common apps.

2. Battery life: I loved this phone's battery life. So I'd like my new one to have a 3000mAh battery or something a bit less or even higher. I don't want a 1500mAh battery.

3. Removable battery: This is important. I don't want something to happen to my battery and then bam, the whole phone is dead because I can't replace the battery.

4. Screen size and resolution: This phone has a 5.7inch screen. I REALLY like this size. So anything near that size would be great. I think this phone is considered a "phablet", and I really like that. Really comfortable in my big hands. The resolution doesn't HAVE to be above 1080p. If it is, then great. But I don't NEED anything above that. In fact, this phone is 720p and I'm ok with it.

5. OS: I'd like my phone to have either android marshmallow or lollipop. I do not want an android kit kat OS, or anything equal or older.

6. Speakers: I like crisp, loud speakers. I found that out with this phone. It sounds even louder than my tablet.

7. Memory: I want 16GB or more. I'm done with 8GB. Heck, if it's 32GB but a bit more pricy than my 500$ limit, I'll consider it. I do NOT want storage issues every single week. "You can't download this app because there's not enough storage"....oooooooh that message. I do not like it one bit.

8.Brand: Preferably an android phone. No windows phones or iphones. ANY brand that uses android is fine by me.

9. Connectivity: I'd obviously like for it to have bluetooth, NFC (or smartshare beam), and wifi hotspot.

10. LED: This is a bonus, and if it doesn't have it I don't really mind, but it would be nice. This phone has a LED for notifications.....a red led. Not an RGB led...a red led. Not nice.

11. Automatic brightness: yes, this phone doesn't even have that. I got used to it. But I didn't like that.

I think that would sum it up. I'm really sorry for the long questions, but I wanted to provide as much detail as possible. This community has helped me a lot before, and I'm really thankful. Thank you very much in advance for your recommendations, and I'll read and take into consideration every answer.

Have a good day.

You can get an LG G4 for under 500 now if you hunt around. If this isn't up to the size you want, you can find a Samsung Note 3/4 for well under 500.
